Both models feature inclined monocular heads with a locked-on 10x widefield eyepiece with a built-in pointer and a reverse position nosepiece with 4x, 10x and 40x all glass, parfocal and parcentered achromatic objectives. Both models offer bright, white light illumination, either with tungsten, or LED bulbs. Focus with large, easy to handle dual knobs with tension adjustment and slip clutch.

A large and durable stage includes locked-on stage clips and an integrated NA 0.65 condenser, and a 5 position disc diaphragm. The stage is tapped to accept an optional mechanical stage if desired. Adjustable stage travel safety rack stop prevents slide damage.
